Ford to cut jobs
A few weeks ago Ford announce that it is cutting 2000 white collar jobs. Ford said that it no longer expects to be profitable in 2009. Part of the reason they do not expect to be profitable in 2009 is becase the pickup trucks are not selling. Most foreign manufactors are concentrating on small, gas saving cars. The US auto mostly focus on big trucks, or one that takes a lot of cas. With gas prices as high as it is today, we need gas saving cars Ford, Chrysler, and GM have eliminated jobs in the US. |
